I did an MA in Creative Writing, and fiction is my first love. Please have a read. Any and all comments are welcome.

You should have called me Narcissus is a short story I wrote about a blind sculptor and his muse. It appeared in the anthology African Compass: Award-winning stories selected by JM Coetzee.

Holiday Town is my first novel, and it was shortlisted for the EU Literary Award. It takes the story of the sculptor and his muse, and transplants them to the coastal village of Betty’s Bay. Against a backdrop of perlemoen poaching and small town politics, it explores their love story.

Stuffed is my second novel. It’s about a very brash, brusque guy who’s actually wracked with self-doubt. It’s not for the faint hearted, and I’m aware that I’ll probably have to censor it somewhat.
